  PoC to connect a KUKA robot to a Microsoft Azure cloud from the LEGO Group via an edge interface from Munich-based IoT specialist Device Insight. The Cloud Connector - a software solution developed by Device Insight that is already used in the KUKA iiQoT solution - could also be used here. The Cloud Connector transfers data to the cloud via the MQTT protocol and uses Microsoft Azure functionalities such as automatic software updates and daily renewed security certificates for this purpose.
